BC Ferries issued a cancellation notice at 6:18 pm on Tuesday, November 19, announcing that the following sailings between Little River (Comox) and Westview (Powell River) terminals will not run, as a result of Environment Canada’s severe weather forecast for high winds in the Strait of Georgia this evening.

Cancelled sailings:
7:10 pm departing Little River
8:45 pm departing Westview

There are no further sailings on this route for the remainder of the evening, according to BC Ferries.

At 7:53 pm, BC Ferries also announced cancellations for the Blubber Bay (Texada) - Westview route. The 8:35 pm departure from Blubber Bay and 9:20 pm return will not sail due to adverse weather.
