"Tracker," starring Justin Hartley, is currently filming season two in Metro Vancouver.

The cold may finally be settling in, but it's not freezing film and television production across Metro Vancouver.

New seasons of popular shows are currently on location in places like Vancouver, Surrey and Langley.

Here's the latest slate, according to Creative BC:

Fire Country

Now in its third season, Fire Country follows Bode Donovan, a young convict who's looking for a shortened prison sentence by joining an elite firefighting program to extinguish massive blazes.

The action-drama series is set in California, but it's filmed in Vancouver and Fort Langley.

Fire Country is a CBS original series seen on Global TV in Canada, and streamed on Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians

Under the pseudonym "Mink Golden 2," filming for the second season of Percy Jackson and The Olympians appears to be coming to an end.

Creative BC states there's only one week left for the Disney+ production's time in Metro Vancouver.

Filming began in August, which, at the time, included a partial closure of Spanish Banks.

Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, embarks on a "dangerous quest" across America to return Zeus’s master bolt and prevent a massive war. He has a couple of quest mates on his journey to lead him closer to discovering his destiny in a world where he feels he doesn't belong.

Resident Alien

What happens when an alien crash lands on Earth and takes on the identity of a small-town doctor?

Chaos, hijinks and moral dilemmas.

That's the premise behind Resident Alien, which is now shooting its fourth season after it was renewed — and revitalized — by USA Network last June.

Alan Tudyk (A Knight's Tale, Firefly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), recently known for his work in voice acting, is the lead character of Harry Vanderspeigle. His alien self is on a secret mission, but he develops a new compassion for humanity.

Temptation: Desire

In Surrey, a TV movie appears to be in development for the delight of thriller-suspense fans.

Temptation: Desire centres on a talk show host that marries a "charismatic" South African doctor, but discovers they're a con artist after their wedding.

Filming starts Monday, Jan. 27.

  • Producer: Abraham Fraser (The Mother, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Unforgiveable)
