The West Kelowna Warriors announced three moves Monday prior to the 3 p.m. B.C. Hockey League trade deadline.
The lone addition was the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Cristophe Farmer, who most recently played with the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Farmer left the Remparts to join the Warriors.
The Warriors also sent 20-year-old forward Jayden Price to Amarillo in the North American Hockey League and 17-year-old forward Carter Schmidt to the Cranbrook Bucks.
West Kelowna received future considerations in both deals.
"We are very excited for Christophe to join the Warriors family,"said head coach Simon Ferguson.
"Cristophe is a dynamic player who can make plays, score goals and wants to win."
In 29 games with the Remparts, Farmer had seven goals, 12 assists and six penalty minutes.
Over four seasons in the QMJHL, he amassed 36 goals and 77 assists in 166 games.
The 5'10 Farmer also has some history with Warriors leading scorer Felix Trudeau.
"We played together when we were young, and we kept in contact. I'm sure our chemistry will come back quickly," said Farmer.
Going the other way, Schmidt had nine points in 25 games with the Warriors while Price had two goals and two assists in 13 games.
The moves leave the Warriors with 23 players on their roster, one below the league limit of 24.
While teams are not able to engage in trades, they can sign players who have been released.
Farmer is expected to be in the lineup Wednesday when the Warriors play the first of three straight on the road in Prince George.
