Welcome to the 2025 Sunshine Coast People’s Choice Awards! It’s time to celebrate and support the incredible local businesses that help make our community special. Coast Your Vote and show your love for your favourite nominees in this year’s awards!
Nominations were open for a 2-week period which ran from May 1– May 15, 2025 through our partner the Sunshine Coast Chamber of Commerce. During this time the local community was invited to either nominate their own business or all their favourite local businesses in 135 predetermined categories. Voting for the 2025 People’s Choice Awards will be done in four 2-week periods. Once the 2-week voting period for each ballot is complete, there will be no further votes accepted for the categories within that ballot. The voting periods for each ballot are as follows:
Ballot 1 ‘RETAIL’: Voting opens on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10:00am and closes on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11:59pm
Ballot 2 ‘HEALTH, WELLNESS & LIFESTYLE’: Voting opens on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 10:00am and closes on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:59pm
Ballot 3 ‘SERVICES’: Voting opens on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00am and closes on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:59pm
Ballot 4 ‘FOOD & DRINK’: Voting opens on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 10:00am and closes on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:59pm
The top three businesses that receive the most votes in each of the 135 categories, will become the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the 2025 Sunshine Coast People’s Choice Awards. These businesses will be notified that they have been chosen as a finalist prior to September 26, 2025.
The 1st place favourites and the 2nd and 3rd place runners-up of 2025 Sunshine Coast People’s Choice awards will be announced on October 17, 2025 in a special feature from the Coast Reporter.
