In a thrilling display of skill, determination and sheer grit, the culmination of a year’s worth of hard work and dedication came to fruition as Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey U15A clinched fifth place at the BC Hockey U15 Tier 3 Provincial Hockey Championship. Taking place last week in Quesnel, B.C., nine of the best Tier 3 U15 teams battled hard to become the best in the province.

From the very outset, U15A knew the competition would be fierce and games would be fast and hard hitting. Months of training, practice, games, and unwavering focus led U15A to this moment. Their goal all year long had been to make it to provincials. Facing formidable opponents who were equally hungry for glory, the journey to provincials was no walk in the park for U15A. Each game was a testament to their resilience, as they battled opponents on the ice and pushed the limits of their own capabilities. While in Quesnel, U15A was honored to be awarded the Fair Play Award. On and off the ice, U15A carried themselves with respect for their opponents, officials, and how they spent their time in the town of Quesnel.
